It’s been 2 years since i first mapped anything, and the first song i mapped back then was shiny ray cause it was the cool new anime op of the season. I wasn’t able to rank it back then cause the map was bad but with the help of all the people I’ve got to know since I’m able to do that now. So a big thanks to everyone that helped me get to this point and also thanks to all the cool people i know that gd’ed this song for me.

Well. First of all - offset. I think u need +10ms more. As i see u changed offset so place all sections on a bit please.
Second is a Volume. 100% is too much. Always there is 40-60%. Volume of a sections the same.

Use ctrl+a. You use not an all square.

00:29:294 (6,7,1) - And again there is no triple. Triple after slider, not before. Slider on a white bit. then doubles
00:36:999 (8,13) - and again overlap. Its just insane diff. If these overlaps are сan not be explained either rhythmically or by playing, it is better not to do them at all. Really. At all.

I changed nearly all the mistakes except for the flow stopping circle into slider combo and filling in the break which im still mapping q_q.
I Still think 00:45:360 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) is mapped to the music and fits but ill see and maybe ill find something more comfortable to play.

I think it's just about a big lack of experience (i saw you've uploaded only 2 maps) but currently you have to work on 'fitting the music' - take a closer look at this video (and also the playlist this guy have done about mapping), it's for me all about mistakes you've done

This diff faces exactly the same rhythm issues as extra, it's all pretty well playable but you didn't really map your song. The most illustrative example is at 00:45:370 and 00:47:993, the jumps are pretty cool to play, but the music doesn't suggested jumps at all ! It's simply overmapped. I'm pretty sure a great mapper would have do the same, and it could have been ranked, but you're not famous enough to get through it^^

First, i hoped it would be better, but as you chose to make the hard like a non-jumy insane (nothing against that) => Rhythm issues !
Since ar is also pretty low (7.2 is really low when you put triplets and stacks on a 183 bpm song), i can't even ply the map :/

I will be honest with you, except if you want to remap the 3 diffs i've taken a look at, it will not have a chance to get ranked (at least for my opinion), you could ask a BN for it but don't expect too much. Be sure you'll get better in the future, soon to problems ive mentionned would just disappear from your maps, so keep training mapping, and don't surrender because someone (me lol) told you it's not a good map. As i like to say : "c'est en forgeant que l'on devient forgeron" (search google trad if you don't speak french^^)

Thank you for just saying that my map wasnt mapped to the song, while mapping i was thinking in myself that i could probably copy paste the map on any 183 bpm song and it would still make some kind of sense. I've also only made 2 maps before this but they were so unbelieveably bad that i don't want anyone to ever see them.

I really disliked making a hard version, I was stuck between using the 1/1 and 1/2 rythym form the normal and the rythym with alot of 1/2 and 1/4's from the insane. I couldn't hear an inbetween, so i just unconciously copied the insane rythym and just lowered spacing and put down more sliders.

  1. Well first of all since this is a normal diff you should probably use distance snap... Right now there's 87 spacing errors from AImod
  2. 00:06:016 (6,1) - Idk what happened here but I'd definitely read this as 1/2 gap so please make it consistent with the rest of the section
  3. Overall the first section (00:03:393 - 00:14:212 - ) is pretty boring since it's just 1/1 rhythms all over with no variation... You could try to map to the melody instead of the drums for more interesting rhythms there tbh or at least use something else than just 1/1 sliders and circles with 1/1 gaps
  4. 00:21:917 (5) - There's no sound here so I don't see a reason for this one here...
  5. 01:24:376 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - This looks hella confusing to play and is way harder than the rest of the map
Actually looking at the whole map it's rhythmically very boring as it consists of mostly just 1/1 spam with the exception of kiai... You could try to follow the melody/vocals to make the rhythm more interesting. Also your spacing is way too huge you should try to use distance snap for the whole map with the ds value of something between 0.8 and 1.2
Also your comboing is really a mess in most of the places... You should try to keep it consistent and new combo every or 2nd downbeat.

In general the way you handle rhythm is very inconsistent... Just looking at the intro I can say tha you just seem to throw slides and circles randomly and adding repeats here and there without thinking how you did it just a while ago... You should try to keep your rhythms more consistent since if the music doesn't change then the rhythms should pretty much the same anyway. Also why no kiai on this one? You should keep it same on every diff.

Well I'll skip the top diff since it's really weird to me... It uses simpler rhythm than the insane in a lot of places but has insane spacing. It also has pretty much the same issues as insane so you can try to apply many things from my mod to insane on it too.

Actually looking at the whole map it's rhythmically very boring as it consists of mostly just 1/1 spam with the exception of kiai... You could try to follow the melody/vocals to make the rhythm more interesting. Also your spacing is way too huge you should try to use distance snap for the whole map with the ds value of something between 0.8 and Mostly fixed?, maybe
Also your comboing is really a mess in most of the places... You should try to keep it consistent and new combo every or 2nd downbeat. ~Fixed~

Just looking at the intro I can say tha you just seem to throw slides and circles randomly and adding repeats here and there without thinking how you did it just a while ago... You should try to keep your rhythms more consistent since if the music doesn't change then the rhythms should pretty much the same anyway. Also why no kiai on this one? You should keep it same on every diff.

Done remapping Normal, Insane and Shining Chariot so these can be modded.
Im just taking a break from mapping a new diff (hard) for a day or two.

Until I have posted another post that says that the Hard can be moded, just leave it alone for now.

00:39:386 (10) - Why is this starting on a blue tick? If anything, this burst of violin in the song can be represented with more 1/2 jumps, either with hit circles or 1/4 sliders. This extended slider doesn't really make sense here.
00:46:845 (4,5,6) - Do you see how visually, these three notes look like they would be the same distance in time, but they're not? This causes confusion when reading and should be avoided. You can fix this in several ways:
1. Change 00:47:009 (5,8) into 1/4 sliders so that there are only 1/2 gaps in this part instead of 1/2 and 1/1 gaps.
2. Change the pattern so that the 1/2 and 1/1 gaps appear differently. See below for some examples. In this example, I placed 6 and 7 in a similar line while also placing 6 farther than 4, making 6 stand out but not as a 1/2 jump.

3. This is another pattern where I represented the 1/1 gaps as stacks so they look very distinct from the 1/2 jumps. See below for the picture.


00:49:632 (6,7) - You haven't done any anti-jumps like this before, so this may be confusing to read. It might be best to move 7 farther left so that 6 and 7 don't look like a stream at all, whether 6 and 7 touch or not (I would prefer they don't touch at all).

The reason 00:11:271 (1,2,1,2,1,2) and 01:24:714 (1,2,1,2,1,2) are fine is because you established a diagonally top-to-bottom pattern with your new combos and circle placements. Overall it's a pretty great map so far :D

00:07:337 (7,8) - I would lower this spacing slightly.
00:19:796 (1,2,3,4,5) - Some readability issue as in Shining Chariot. Unless you want to stack the 1/1 gaps, I would probably just increase the spacing of the 1/1 gaps by at LEAST double.
00:40:124 (11) - I would start the break here. You could map the violin burst like you should in Shining Chariot as well.

From what I've seen your combos are inconsistent. Try starting new combos at downbeats (big white lines) to keep the combo consistent.

Quick note for the GD, it's not beacause you make a hard diff that its an auto-include in the set.
If someone else makes a better hard GD, that one will be used instead as I don't want the first one to automatically get in but rather the best one.
And even if there is no competition, I still want to have a good diff there.

Don't worry, I'm not going to rush my diff, anyways even if it's not that good, it will still receive mods that will improve the diff, the only thing I am worried about is, if you will grave this map and abandon it.

based on the amount of work i have put into his map, I really don't want to abandon it.
If somone destroys it now with valid criticism I am prepared to reamp all diffs 1 more time, if it's still no good after that ill have to look at my motivation then if I want to continue then. (I really don't want the remap counter to go to 3)
