Mod on the Salad and Platter diff.

00:00:854 (3) - I think most jumps should be reduced to about 2.1x here to be consistent. I also think this distance works well for an easy dash. Use it in places like 00:01:366 (6,1) -
00:04:263 (1) - I would've had this continue to the left to follow a easier flow for a salad.
00:06:991 (1) - reduce jump to this and make it a little more vertical slider to make it easier
00:10:059 (2) - I think it makes more sense to have this on the right side of 00:09:718 (1) - going to the left.
00:20:286 (3) - I would move this a bit closer to the previous note
00:24:718 (2) - Having this as a vertical slider makes flow a bit weird, i would make it just follow to the right
01:39:718 (3) - jump on this should be reduced to about 2.1, a bit too much for a salad
01:43:468 (7,1) - this jump was a bit much and unexpected, I would reduce it

I feel overall the diff was smooth except for some dashing feeling a bit too hard or forced.

Platter
I feel like the first section shouldn't have as many Hypers as it does. Use dashing on the ephasized vocals and keep the hypers to the emphsized downbeats such as 00:11:082 (1) - and 00:16:536 (1) - Everything else shoudnt really be a hyper or least remove some hypers.

My main issue with this map is the dashing, some of it is nice and fits while others are forced for no real reason and are a bit too hard for a platter diff. I think you should use a consistent distance for dashing throughout the diff, especially for 1/2 dashes so it flows smoother and certain jumps arent harder to hit for no reason. Other than that, I think this diff is pretty good. c:

00:00:173 (1,2) – I think a 1.30x spacing between these would be better because it's a bit awkward to plate-walk currently because it reads as a plate-walk but you almost have to dash to catch (1). Move (1) to X=80 to do this.

00:06:991 (1,2) - ^Same here, a 1.30x distance snap would be more comfortable for plate-walking here.

00:15:684 (4,5) – I'd use 1.80x spacing here to make this dash more clear to read since 1.60x at the current AR is a bit ambiguous to read.

00:15:684 (4,5) – I'd use 1.80x spacing here to make this dash more clear to read since 1.60x at the current AR is a bit ambiguous to read. I think this is clearly read as a dash since the last walks were not even close to this amount of spacing so it lets you knoow to dash on this

Late M4M for Tyrell that I said I was going to do but didn't do.

I'm going to copy that thing Ascendance does because it seems like a good way to organise my thoughts
  1. Difficulty Spread : Can't go wrong with the linear spread
  2. Background Size : Optional to use bigger BG if you have one because ranking criteria was updated for 1920x1200
  3. Unsnapped objects : Unsnapped stuff on Tyrell's diff
  4. Audio bitrate over 192 kbps : all gud
  5. Metadata Issues : Metadata needs some confirming since someone else will try to do it if I don't put this here:
    So it seems this is a different version compared to the last version ranked. Did a little bit of research
    From her website, the name is correct. While not from the game, source is still fine because remixes/rearrange still have the original source. Thing is that the Itunes version has a different title, but that's probably an issue on their side. Go with the creator's website version, which it currently is. TLDR it's fine
  6. Timeline Issues : Timing is too early, it's almost by about 1/6th of a beat. Use an offset of around 230
  7. Unused Hitsounds : ur fine
  8. Hitsounds Issues : Soft default hitnormal is too loud, most notable on the opening, would take a lot of effort to redo the volumes on all diffs. You can just add a copy of the default soft hitnormal with reduced volume to fix this. Highly suggest doing this one.
  9. Unused Files / Other : Maybe include spectator's map in the description. While it's an old map, it's aged fairly well. 100% your choice
    Could add a spinner somewhere so that the #1 isn't just the first HDHR SS, but your choice again.

  1. 00:11:082 (1) - Odd pause, use a slider maybe
  2. 00:54:094 (4) - A bit further than other stuff, could be fine because hitsound
  3. 01:05:003 (2) - just some odd flow, goes left but you go right.
  4. 01:41:140 (3,4,5,6) - You use really small spacing here but then a really fast one for the slider. Change this
  5. 01:45:231 (2,1) - Use consistent distance spacing

Salad
  1. 00:12:104 (2) - Could be more complicated that you really need to for salad
  2. 00:20:627 (4) - I mod hardest first, same for the thing on platter 00:37:390 (2) - . This one could make even more tighter so that the movement is more apparent
  3. 00:18:923 (4) - Is anti-flow really needed here. Could just ctrl-h this and the rest of the first part after this circle to easy fix
  4. 01:10:799 (6) - Odd spacing to be here, since it's directly above.

  2. 00:04:662 (2) - This one is a bit further, there's a small background noise but it's really unexpected and isn't worth the current distance change.
  3. 00:37:390 (2) - While you have the right idea, the slider isn't the same in game. Sliders that curve up and down feel like a straight line. Make the slider a tighter circle and the slider drops will be more curved.

  3. 00:08:013 (5) - Might look better if it was a little closer for a better curve was what I was going to say before playing the rest of the map
  4. 00:08:695 (2) - I know this is the same distance snap, but it feels slightly farther for no reason.
  5. 00:19:263 (1) - Might be better if it was a curved slider instead
  6. 00:20:627 (1,2,3,4) - This might play better as a semi circle shape curve
  7. 00:35:116 (8) - Could make this farther away if you want, not really that much of a jump atm
  8. 00:44:150 (5) - This is fairly unexpected hyperdash, angle the slider end so it points left or remove hyperdash
  9. 00:56:422 (4) - Doesn't flow too well, since most fruits in that area have been turnaround rather than keep going. Might work if you move it further away
  10. 01:43:468 (3) - Might be too close, but unlikely
  11. 01:45:684 (2) - Slider end is too far away

  6. 00:20:627 (1,2,3,4) - This might play better as a semi circle shape curve it would play smoother but it wouldnt represent the intensity of the vocals well. I increased spacing on this pattern because of the held vocal and how it is the main part here
  7. 00:35:116 (8) - Could make this farther away if you want, not really that much of a jump atm this is a calm part vocally so i want the jump to be super easy here
  8. 00:44:150 (5) - This is fairly unexpected hyperdash, angle the slider end so it points left or remove hyperdash yes it is unexpected but it definitely isnt unreasonable. it flows well in the sense it is unusual and fun to me, i dont wanna change this. it's a great end to that section.
  9. 00:56:422 (4) - Doesn't flow too well, since most fruits in that area have been turnaround rather than keep going. Might work if you move it further away i am sorry but i dont really understand what you mean here, It is meant to be constant left right back and forth here between notes. this note adds variation so it isnt too stale too quickly
  10. 01:43:468 (3) - Might be too close, but unlikely seems perfectly spaced to me, wanted it to be lenient before more intense part that follows
  11. 01:45:684 (2) - Slider end is too far away I dont think so, it adds the movement i was aiming for on this intense part of the song. requires a lot of movement here like intended and it isnt too hard.
  12. 01:50:627 (1) - Imo the slider tick is too far away not to me, just requires a bit of technical movement. i dont see a need to change here
  13. 01:53:354 (1) - Not curved enough for me to think that I need to go left for it, but too curved to be able to sit in one spot to collect droplets i intended this to not be curved much for that reason.i want it to contrast the heavy slider movement before for a nice end and show it is gonna calm down as well as show support for the nice held vocal at that point.

  5. 01:43:525 (3,1) - might be a bit too much, it doesn't feel out of place or anything so it might not be a problem, idk
  6. 02:04:832 (2,3,4,5,6) - try to make this a bit more zig-zaggy, it feels nice to end it on a little zigzag :^)

  6. 02:04:832 (2,3,4,5,6) - try to make this a bit more zig-zaggy, it feels nice to end it on a little zigzag :^) - Naah the piano is weakening out so I feel it's better to have less movement here

  2. Adjust this to be consistent with the remaining diffs.
  3. Eh, am I the only one who notices the lack of movement at this diff? (Even if it's a really calm song, I got bored rather quickly right at the beginning). Most (if not all) of the suggestions I'm gonna make at this diff are gonna be related to this, so yeah.
  4. 00:02:957 (1) - Curve this a bit more to the left edge of the screen for more mobility. Sorta like this.
  5. 00:07:048 (2) - Ctrl+< (Rotate anticlockwise) this slider and move to x:336, it looks better this way, it's a nice curve.
  6. 00:09:093 (3) - If previous is applied, move this to x:192, and adjust properly 00:09:775 (4) - this slider (wew such slider dem red points) so that the movement connects to the next object.
  7. 00:13:866 (1) - Why is this so vertically shaped? Make it more horizontal, I can stay still and catch it perfectly like it is rn.
  8. 00:17:957 (2) - Same as before, it also gives a better pattern if made horizontal ^^
  9. 00:26:820 (2,3,4,5) - Some more distancing between this could be more fitting than just 2 taps to both left and right to catch all of these. Maybe 1,5x? (There is no dash even with 2x distancing so yeah, doing this is fine).
  10. 00:32:275 (2) - To not repeat the previous pattern at 00:24:775 (1,2) - , move the selected one to the left side, it also gives more symmetry.
  11. 00:33:639 (1,2,3,1) - Same as before, 1,5 distance between these can fit better than these little distances.
  12. 00:35:684 (1,2,1,2) - These objects are arranged almost the same way between them, they almost felt copypasted. Try to spruce them up a bit, maybe rotating one of the two sliders clockwise/counterclockwise, or orientating them either to the left or to the right side, but all the time in the center gives me that feeling at least.
  13. 00:41:139 (1,2,1,2) - Same as the above point? They practically are the same, but changed the x axis by 2 or 3 grids to the right. Same solution as well.
  14. 00:46:593 from here to 00:53:752 - , almost 8 seconds at the left side. Try 00:50:684 (1) - changing this slider so that it goes from left to right, and then continue the patterning from the right side, like this.
  15. 01:11:139 - to 01:20:684 - eh... should you really have a break here while all other diffs have it filled? :l
  16. 01:22:048 (1,2,3,1) - Too much time on the right side? 01:26:139 (1) - Try moving this one to the left instead, you can properly adjust the remaining objects after this change, too.
  17. 01:42:502 (1) - Try making this hitobject into a slider instead, as there is a sound at 01:42:843 - and not having anything there is kinda odd to me.
  18. 01:46:593 (1) - More horizontally-shaped, please? Vertical stuff = Less movement = Not for a cup.
Personal Thoughts: Aside from having really poor mobility across the whole diff, it plays correctly and is mapped lightly to adapt into the cup feeling. Nothing else to add.

[Salad]

  1. 00:00:911 (3,4,5,6,2,3,4,5,3,4,5,6) - I know your mapping style mostly consists of nicely flowing patterns, but repeating this curve 3 times for rhythms that are quite different between each other isn't a great idea. I suggest making some changes to the 2nd curve so that the repetitive patterning isn't as noticeable (nobody will notice 1st and 3rd are the same if the 2nd has a different pattern).
  2. 00:41:480 (2,3,4) - er, lemme see... something here isn't quite convincing me. Maybe making the 2nd slider a zig-zag curve or something? Perhaps making it completely straight (with some curvature so that it doesn't touch the borders of the playfield) will do the trick.
  3. 00:46:593 (1,2,3,1,2,1,2,3,1,2) - It's ironic how the lyrics sing "Merry go ‘round and around", but this much repeating the same (or almost the same) patterning all over and over again isn't quite fun. You can do something fun here tho: The lyrics sing "Merry go ‘round and around" two times, at the first and the fourth main beats of the selection (00:46:593 - here, and 00:52:730 - here), so the patterns at those may remain as they are. But for the remaining two, as they sing something different ("misery" and "quandary" instead of "merry") you might make some different patterning, either changing the direction of the first sliders (00:48:639 (1) - and 00:50:684 (1) - ) or changing the orientation of the next objects to these sliders (00:50:002 (2) - and 00:52:048 (2,3) - ). This is up to you though, but I think it'll create a nice touch.
Personal Thoughts: Nice salad! It flows really nicely, and although some distances can be increased to make the player feel more dashy, it's not that much necessary. But still, it's up to you~

[Platter]

  1. 00:10:798 (3) - I don't quite know if this has a sound at the blue tick it ends to support it. Might I suggest to change it to a 1/2 slider?
  2. 00:21:366 (5,6,7,8) - These objects don't quite convince me, maybe because they're shaped as an antiflowing curve. IDK, it's weird to have them like that, so I suggest making them a flowing curve instead, with 2x distancing from the previous curve (00:20:684 (1,2,3,4) - ) and distancing 00:22:048 (9) - by 3x so that it triggers HDash.
  3. 00:29:889 (5) - Make this slider vertically-shaped, tilted to the left, placed at x:92. I mean... it flows nicely like this.
  4. 01:23:411 (3,4,1,2,3) - Felt pretty repetitive. Change the 2nd curve into something else? (that trick always works :^))
  5. 01:47:957 (1,2,3,4) - Maybe make the 2nd pair of sliders tilted inwards instead of outwards? Like this. (If you wanna apply these changes, I placed 01:48:639 (3) - at x:372 and 01:48:980 (4) - at x:104 and it worked pretty fine.)
Personal Thoughts: As all of your maps, this flew beautifully. I loved every piece of it, great job.

[Tyrell's Utopia]

  1. 00:29:207 (1,2,3) - Maybe move 3 to the same position as 1? It could add a nice key input effect like this.
  2. 00:44:207 (5,6) - Is a HDash really needed here? I can't seem to hear a sound that can be emphasized with one, so I might suggest turning this into just a normal dash.
  3. 00:51:707 (3) - Could be curved more to the outside, it feels practically like a straight slider.
  4. 01:09:093 (5) - The shape of this slider is quite odd to play, considering it ends pointing to the left and the next object is at the right side. I'd suggest making this zig-zag end up pointing to the right instead.
  5. 01:14:548 (2) - Same as at third point.
  6. 01:52:048 (1) - Same as at fourth point, but this time it can be shaped completely different, since the movement is so awkward in this one.
  7. 01:54:264 (2,3,4) - These objects can be shaped as triangles since they can play nicely as well, it's your choice though, this suggestion is made mostly to differenciate those objects from 01:52:900 (2,3,4) - these.
Personal Thoughts: I love this diff. It flows so perfectly at the kiai, it almost felt like flying through it. I hope this gets ranked.
