Do you have a skin.ini in your skin folder? (You can access the folder form the options menu.)
If yes, open it, search for the line "version" and change whatever number is there to 2.1 minimum. If it's still like this, then you need 2.0 or 1.0.
If this line doesn't exist, just create it, like this:
If you don't have a skin.ini, grab one from a random skin or the template one, and follow the instructions above.
