Problem Details:
So it seems that if i attempt to play anything semi-difficult on taiko, my osu completely poops itself. i have framerate set to unlimited, and it slowly declines from 300 to around 20. same applies with framerate at 240 or 120. Playing on fallback but this also affects the current stable build.
note that this (obviously) won't apply to vsync. That being said, vsync delay is too op for me, and i'm already bad enough at taiko without the delay.

specs that matter:
128gb ssd
intel i7-4790 @3.6ghz
nvidia gtx 970

i will provide as much info as needed. only other processes running during this recording were skype, discord, and chrome. (and obs, but this happens without obs). ram is not an issue

UPDATE: It seems that the culprit was the taiko-slider and taiko-slider-fail sprites. I honestly have no idea why it does this, and i guess this now counts as a bug report. Both sprites were a 1x1 black pixel. again, not sure why this issue happens, if anyone would like to provide some insight that would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

bump? please, i really would love to delve into taiko and this is really turning me off from the gamemode. If there is anything i can do, please let me know

Try stopping all programs that aren't osu!.

Switch to cutting edge and replicate this issue. Then post the performance log here in a box

at first switching to cutting edge seemed to resolve the problem, but about halfway through the song it really started to act up again :/

NOTE: I had to manually remove the "slow frame detected at ___ in (Menu/SelectPlay)" and just left the ones detected in play mode because my performance log had to many characters to post here. if you need that info, let me know.

UPDATE: It seems that the culprit was the taiko-slider and taiko-slider-fail sprites. I honestly have no idea why it does this, and i guess this now counts as a bug report. Both sprites were a 1x1 black pixel. again, not sure why this issue happens, if anyone would like to provide some insight that would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
