[Archived] Hit Delay with High FPS

Problem Details:

I have a very high hit delay as shown in the offset meter. Any FPS mode (Unlimited, 120, 240, vsync in Latest stable) that is not 60 fps with vsync in stable(fallback) release has this delay. The delay appears with both keyboard hits and mouse clicks. I cannot get above 75% accuracy in this situation.

Please help me with resolving this issue!

What is your universal offset setting set to? Try setting it to 0 (if it already isn't 0).
You can find it in your osu! settings.

I have set my universal offset to 0.

I do not believe it is related to the universal offset, as when I try +50 and -50, the hit delay is the same. In the past when I play, I am hitting according to the approach circle.

Does this also happen on Cutting Edge and Beta?

Can you try on cuttingedge or beta? Press CTRL + F to enable performance overlay on the bottom right corner, how many milliseconds is it showing?
You can get an in-depth graph by pressing CTRL + F11.

I tried beta and cutting edge; the same problem persists.

I enabled CRTL+F, and on the menu it is showing ~4.0-4.5 ms and in game it is showing ~0.30-0.55 ms with ~230-240/240 fps.

Enabling CRTL+F11, the graph appears but nothing shows while I am playing.

EDIT:

I reinstalled everything, and updated my graphics card drivers. Problem is fixed. Thanks for the help!

The hit error meter shows that you're hitting too early, not too late...
