Problem Details: Well basically my old laptop just had an intel i7 3rd gen and 8gigs of RAM, the new laptop has an i5 4th gen and a nVidia Geforce GT940M 2GB gpu and the new one has the same amount of ram.

Well, a better explanation of the problem would be nice.

Anyways, first of all, make sure that you have your GPU drivers (NVidia) up to date, or install them in case you don't have them. Also, after that, make sure that your PC is using the NVidia GPU to run osu!, and not the integrated GPU.

Then, if you are sure that you have your GPU drivers up to date and you are using your NVidia GPU to run osu!, change your osu! release stream to Beta or Cutting Edge and see if you get better performance there.

I have same problem too, but with different upgrade, i upgraded to windows 10 then i get low frames =3
