Please don't use other people's skin elements in your skin without the creator's permission.
Nobody likes it when people take your hard work and claim it for themselves, so make sure you ask permission from the original skinner and credit them in your skin when you use their skin elements. Or why not make the entire skin original? |

It's sad how common sense has to be posted just because people seem to lack it.

I think you're missing the point of this thread. It's "Don't steal skin elements" not "Don't steal art". As in hit circles and spinners, not paintings and images. osu! is a close knit community asking to use other members elements is common sense since everyone knows each other to some degree. Please refrain from posting further in this thread as you're just making yourself look like a massive twat, thank you. |

Doesn't really warrant debate. Using elements from another person's skin to make your own skin without permission would be analogous to using elements from another person's song to make your own song without permission. The latter isn't something that happens here, so there's no direct correlation worth discussing.
