You're not even linking the maps you are referring to.
Do you mean everything shown on this site https://osu.ppy.sh/p/beatmaplist? If so, that's exactly what I mean then. Every shown playcount there is too little by almost a half (just guessing)?peppy wrote:
my guess is the play count showing on the front page is wrong, but it needs further investigation.
I still don't really get what you mean with front page... That page where the most played beatmaps are listed? I don't think that these counter are broken.peppy wrote:
The other way around. The front page stats are most likely wrong.
Thanks for letting me knowbaraatje123 wrote:
As you created this, you can change that yourself right?
This can be the case, looks rather solid, as it only gives a percentage (but then he could also say xxx out of 1000)Yes Dap wrote:
1: Success rate shows the most simplified form of all plays (ex: 513/677 could mean 1026/1354 plays or 5130/6770 plays and so forth)
That's wrong. One of the earlier screenshots showed 6 out of 8 plays passed, which could easily be simplified to 3 out of 4.baraatje123 wrote:

Where it says "#X out of #Y", the Y is incorrect. At some point long ago I had a friend told me he was ranked #3900 or something on a Taiko map, while for me said map showed I was #2500 out of 3700 or something. I'm not sure about all the numbers, but his rank was lower than the total amount of players it told me the map had. Might also be related to how sometimes, it won't even show X out of Y, it just shows your rank without the total.MillhioreF wrote:
The problem may be a bit deeper than it looks, including inaccurate data ingame as well.
According to #X of X, there are only 12 players that scored worse than my 8 million point score:
But looking at mod scoreboards, that's pretty obviously not true:
Something doesn't add up, either in the way the client caches that number or with the play data in general.
