240 , is that really matters ?
i just hate to put it on unlimited because my graphic card's fan starting to get a bit noisy

If you're talking about the added latency of vsync and the windows frame-buffer (aero or whatever you want to call it) then no, there's no solution. If you want the lowest latency then run in full-screen.

Try changing windows theme to basic.
(Desktop,right click, personalize,scroll down)
