[Archived] Osu keeps freeze every few minutes or seconds

Problem Details:so im on osu since i havent played for so long, but then when i updated osu, my game keeps freezing time to time, it comes back after a few seconds but then it keeps freezing without warning.
not sure whats happening but if you can solve the problem then that'll be great

i dont have a video recorder for this and also screenshots arent useful since its just a frozen screen.

Probably your RAM or HDD freezing up momentairely.
Try setting your power management/saving options to always be 'on full blast'.
(And if you're on a laptop/notebook make sure the power cable is plugged in.)

I don't think these below will do anything, but just in case...
Also make sure you're using DirectX as renderer.
Additionally you could try to turn off a bunch of 'detail settings' in the options.
