Please wait at least 24h before bumping.

Anyway, onto the topic...
What software are you using to record? (And does it do it with other recording software aswell?)
Does it also happen if you use a hotkey (keyboard keys) to stop the recording?

Would need more information.

about the recording software: i'm using Bandicam to record and i'm haven't tested with another recorder
about the hotkey: i haven't tested (because i'm on a vacation). maybe i'll test it when i'm go back home

p/s: this doesn't happen on my laptop

ok, here is the summary
Recording software: i tried it with CamStudio and it doesn't crash
Hotkey: i tried it and the game still crash

I assume it's an issue with the way bandicam records then. I've never had this issue with either Fraps, OBS, Dxtory.
Vaporwave
It'd be an issue with Bandicam. Use a different program like the ones listed above :)
TheVileOne
That program is unsupported then. Program shouldn't be protecting memory that osu! uses to run.

But i have no problem when using bandicam on my laptop
Vaporwave
Try and mirror the config and see if it works then.

No deal. The game still crash

Bump

maybe the cpu on your pc deals weird with bandicam resources...or maybe your windows is just a bit old and "broken"

I also recommend using a different program either

about the os: i'm using win7 ultimate with the latest update.
about the cpu: i'm using intel pentium dual core e2160. i don't think that's incompatible with bandicam
RvNovae
well yeah...dual core is quite poor for recording I'd say

but i'm have a GeForce GT-430 based gpu and use it for recording (using H.264 (NVIDIA CUDA))
RvNovae
well....you can't just rely to 100% on your gpu since your cpu is very important for recording

so a core i3 with integrated gpu is better?

bump
Redow
How many frames per second do you have?
Topic Starter
longnguyen2004
around 220fps when not recording, 22fps when recording

UPDATE: i found out that upgrading to the latest version fix the problem

So now the problem is fixed, just mark this topic invalid or resolved or whatever
