I remember a year into this map's pending life I refound a deviantart journal of mine from 2012 where I stated YELLOW TRICK was my current favorite song, but that I'd probably move on from it within a few days.
I was really wrong, wasn't I? It's still one of my favorites. A true kagamine anthem.

In the really long time it took to finally get this ranked, I repeatedly felt hopeless. Like it would never be good enough no matter how much I tried to improve it, or how many times I remapped entire difficulties or sections. That if Okorin went and made his own set he could've probably ranked it in a month or something, my bad difficulties were just holding his back, et cetera.
I often wished I could just move on and maybe get rid of it, but I liked the song too much to ever really give up on it entirely.
I got so much help from so many people over the years, and I'm really grateful for that. It was thanks to so many people helping me that I was finally able to over time improve it to where it was finally able to get ranked. I still feel I have a long way to go, and that I improve rather slowly, but being part of this community has been a blessing to me. I hope this continues to be true into the future~

I can't mode this much but I can give you pointers and advice to get yourself on the way

Basically hard was my only issue. Adjust slider speed to go down a tad bit slower. The song is fast enough and a slider moving that fast on a hard not an insane would be killer. I suggest just use 1.20-1.30 speed for best results also hp drain and overall difficulty is too high. So adjust hp drain to at least 5 or 6 and overall to a 5 or 6 depending on what you fix and create. That's about it :)

Well it's ok if hard was your only issue since it was the difficulty I asked for in your Modding Queue :).

I put in your suggestions for the hp drain and overall difficulty, thank you for them because I didn't realize that they were too high.
As for the slider speed, I tried out 1.2 and 1.3 but those speeds ended up making the majority of the sliders too small which took away from the movement of the map, but since 1.5 was still a little bit too high like you said I lowered it to 1.4 instead.

It was set up that way so the sliders are with what I think are the stronger vocals while being well spaced. Edit:It took a while longer than other fixes because it meant moving a lot of notes but I fixed it (I hope..).

  2. You may want to include a limited skin.ini to change the combo colors around a bit, given the yellow background the map might be confusing for people with default skin, as it has yellow as one of the four combo colors.

  1. 00:12:555 (2) - I feel like the slider ends a bit early, ending it at 0:13:926 would be better (same situation as 00:18:041 (1)-).
  2. 00:15:298 (3) and 00:20:784 (2) - ^ same stuff, should end at 00:16:669 and 00:22:155 respectively.
  3. 00:23:526 (1,2) - Compared to 00:29:012 (3,4) they end just a tick too early, consider ending them at 00:24:898 and 00:27:641 respectively.
  4. 00:56:441 (2) - Consider ending it at 00:57:812.
  5. 01:01:926 (1) - ^ same stuff | 01:03:298.

Even though I didn't put in all of your suggestions, I'm still keeping them in consideration and I may change my mind later.
Blue is added in with the latest update. Red isn't (this doesn't automatically mean I'm against the idea. I just haven't put it in for one reason or another).

there are many NC problems in every diffs. Try to NC every down beat so it feats the music better
Also many DS problems in B E N diffs,make sure u use the same ds all the time in easy normal diffs. use aimod and fix it

there are many NC problems in every diffs. I'll keep it in consideration though. Maybe later I'll rework the pattern to get rid of the jumps that would happen.
  5. 00:51:641 (3) - im pretty sure this is unrankable now It's been suggested and kicked down a few times for it to be unrankable, but wiggle sliders aren't against the law yet I don't think. I'll still change these though since they don't realllly fit the music well enough.

I think some orange, black, grey, and dark yellow would help in the grand scheme of things considering your combo colors. Personal preference, I suppose.

You should incorporate some claps. It's a great song to do so.

I don't think beginner is necessary, especially considering how fast the sliders are. It may not seem like it, but these seem a bit quick for beginners. Also, you have an easy mode. Close 'nough. ;P

Ooh thanks for the bg I had used the same one and cropped it to 16:9 because osu's auto-cropping would be super weird then the resolution was a bit low so thanks a ton for this yes thanks this is amazing! \o/

Maybe eventually the nicovideo economy mode will go away..

Modding from my queue. I will focus on modding the lower diffs.

[Overview]

  1. Great map overall. It's good, kinda fun to play and has nice rhythm and is pretty easy to SS. xD This might be a pretty "nazi" mod, since I'll mostly say some things about the placement of gameplay elements.
  2. Since star ratings of Beginner and Easy are so close to each other, you can erase Beginner diff if you want. I think Easy diff is beginner-friendly enough to work as the lowest diff of the set, but that's up to you.
  3. I couldn't help but notice you actually use inherited timing sections (the green ones) to change the SV in Beginner and Normal. You shouldn't change SV on the easier diffs because players aren't used to sudden changes in the speed of sliders, which will result in the newbies breaking combos. It's okay to use SV changes on Hard and above, through.
  4. A question: What does exactly the "7:24" in Tags mean? If it isn't something that may help identify the map, I suggest to delete it from tags.
  5. Your map exceeds the size cap of 24 MB. You should look for someone to aid you in encoding your video to make it lighter to reduce beatmap overall size.
  6. You can adjust your Grid Size to be able to place elements with more ease. Just press G until "Grid Size: Tiny" appears, since this is the best grid size to map IMO. I suggest it because it's easier to make complex shapes and create blankets that way.
  7. Here's a guide that might help you to create a nice flow in your maps. It might be pretty helpful, so give it a shot.

[Beginner]

  1. Will be modding this diff since... why not? :3 Just in case.
  2. 00:01:584 (1) - You don't need that many slider anchors to create a curve slider as simple as this one. Modders/mappers usually mark those as ugly. You can delete a slider anchor and keep the same shape if you do slider like this:
  3. 00:04:326 (2) - You should keep the last slider anchor (the one closer to the tail) right in the center of slider's tail for aesthetics. This is because many modders may come and tell you: "Why did you created that slider like that, when you can make it prettier like this?" or something like that. What I mean is something like this:

    Oh, and you should check every slider in every diff for this kind of thing for practice. ;) After all, I don't want to mention all of them since mod will be filled of the same thing, leaving little space for other suggestions.
  4. 00:04:326 (2,1) - You can actually blanket those sliders.
  5. 00:23:526 (1,2) - Spacing issue here. In beginner-friendly diffs, you need to keep Distance Snap (DS) the same (in this case, the DS you're using is 0.7x) as you continue mapping to teach players the time-distance equality rule of game (or that's what Ranking Criteria says).
  6. 00:45:469 (1,2) - ^^ (same as above)
  7. 00:48:212 (2) - I think the waves on this slider are kinda exaggerated, giving it IMO an ugly shape. I think something like this is more fluid and pretty:

    You can make shape like you want, but be careful as to not abuse of the anchors to give it some pretty unreadable shape.
  8. 00:50:955 (3,1,1) - Spacing issues within those three sliders. Move them to avoid those issues.
  9. 01:04:669 (2) - You should add a reverse to this slider to map 01:06:041 - to add some consistency in rhythm.
  10. 01:07:412 (1) - If you add a reverse, you'll need to move this slider to fix spacing. Even if you don't add a reverse, you should move it down to make it easier to read, since right now it's too close to 01:04:669 (2) - Also, it's the same as 00:01:584 (1) - you don't need that many slider anchors to create this. This shape works just as fine:
  11. 01:13:584 - You should place something here to create a consistent rhythm as long as your Kiai lasts, since you were mapping every two beats already.

  17. 01:54:726 - Map this for consistent rhythm.

  20. 02:02:955 - ^^ (those four are enough, you must surely have noticed I'm suggesting you map every two beats on your Kiais). I suggest this because consistent rhythm is easier to read and funnier to play.

  22. Place the timing section of 02:08:955 - on 02:09:126 - and the one in 02:10:326 - on 02:10:155 -
  23. 02:09:126 (4) - This slider should end on 02:10:498 - for consistent rhythm.
  24. Just some little reminders:
    1. If you move a note, be sure to check spacing to correct any issues that may present on the future.
    2. If you add a note, check your NC before and afterwards for consistency.
    3. If you change some slider shapes, check the spacing between slider end and next note, since it might get altered.

[Easy]

  1. Same as Beginner: You have some spacing issues all along this diff. I won't mention them since I don't wanna make a long mod (and I already made such a long wall on Beginner, lol) Better open your AiMod (Ctrl + Shift + A) and check the box called "Check Distance Snap" or something like that. Since my AiMod doesn't mark that box, I'll screenshot it so that you know what I'm talking about.
  2. 00:23:526 - You should map this beat, since it's quite a strong sound and will help to keep rhythm consistency later.
  3. 00:32:441 (2,3) - Check the spacing and the blanket.
  4. 01:08:784 (2,3) - The flow here's kinda weird. You can improve it by making a blanket here, instead of making one on 01:07:412 (1,2) -

  1. 00:05:355 (3,4) - Check the blanket here.
  2. 00:12:555 (1,2) - I know you want to make a blanket here, but you can't if that creates a spacing inconsistency. Correct that inconsistency.
  3. 00:15:298 (1) - I think this shape is very clustered, making it hard to read; and seems to sightly alter slider speed, making it unrankeable. Try to give it a different shape.
  4. 00:18:041 (1,2) - ^^
  5. 00:23:526 (1,2) - This flows kinda weird. My suggestion here is to give slider (1) a different shape, so that it aims at circle (2) direction to keep a nice flow.
  6. 00:26:612 (2,4) - You might want to check this. You can create/improve a blanket here if you want.
  7. 00:53:698 (1,2) - Flow here is kinda weird, too. Try to check it.
