Problem Details:
Whenever I try to open osu!, it says there is a problem with my internet connection, but my internet is fine. I have tried restarting multiple times, but it doesn't help.

Video or screenshot showing the problem:

Edit : Now I can't login. The error (Even if I wait, it continues to say "Connection failed. Retrying in 30s..." - http://i.imgur.com/rCL5AuB.png

Check to make sure your firewall isn't blocking the connection.

How? Sorry, I don't know much about computers.

Pretty sure you're talking about the updater, not osu! itself.
Try using the offline installer found here: https://osu.ppy.sh/p/download (right one).
Back up your beatmaps and skins, and then copy paste them into the new installation directory once it's finished, as this is basically a reinstall.

Can you provide a screenshot of the error?

Also:
Open the windows command promt (press the windows key, type "cmd" and press enter) and run these 2 commands please:
"ping irc.ppy.sh"

"tracert irc.ppy.sh"

Without the quote marks, obviously,
press enter after typing one of them, let it run,and show the result in a screenshot please.

First command is to see if you can reach the IRC server and if so with what kind of latency.

The second one is a route tracing, which shows the route it takes and how long it takes to reach each 'point'.
If you cannot reach it this will tell you where it fails.

Provide screenshots of the results of both command tests please.
This will allow me to determine what/where the issue is.

I don't see any problem from your ping and traceroute. it still arrives to the IP destination, and only 4th hop is missing and I'm sure it's not a packet loss.

maybe try to disable any antiviruses or try a different ISP / Public wi-fi?

My thoughts aswell.

Though that 4th hop shouldn't time out, you should be able to log in.

I suggest adding a new exception rule to your filewall.
(Press the windows key, type "firewall", press enter.)
Make 'New Rule' for a 'Program' and 'Allow the connection', in both inbound and outbound rules.

Or you could try disabling your Firewall & Antivirus (as most people would suggest).

I turned off my firewall and excluded osu! from the anti-virus programs, but I still can't login.
TheVileOne
That definitely sounds like a connection issue. Something is not letting Bancho connect. Double check that your anti virus isn't still doing things even while osu is excluded.

Should I uninstall them?
chong601
Probably not a good question but are you happening to connect to osu! using a firewalled internet? (schools, colleges or monitored internet?)

Um... I'm pretty sure I'm not. I use my home internet.
