Problem Details: Whenever i open osu it opens wineskin instead. As I’m no computer guru, i have literally no idea how wineskin works, i have watched numerous videos trying to understand and when i try to update wineskin , it says i had to do it manually, i did that but osu still doesn’t work. I have installed a new osu but all my maps are gone and i don’t know which folder the maps from my previous osu goes in to update onto my new osu when i press f5. Bottom line is i need help to fix my original osu.

When i go to advanced on wine skin (refer to screenshot), i try to test run and these are the logs WineskinX11: main(): argc=12
Waiting for startup parameters via Mach IPC.
WineskinX11: do_start_x11_server(): argc=12

No idea how wineskin works, but basically you want to put your backed-up beatmaps into your fresh osu! installation?
If so, go to whereever osu is installed (username\appdata folder for the new windows installer)
and copy paste your beatmaps into the songs folder inside the installation folder.
Then open osu and press F5 on the song selection menu.

Hope that helps, if not I'm afraid I can't help you.

I did that but didn’t work :( i put it in the file in which the preloaded beatmap for the new osu appeared. From 3k beatmaps to about 20. This sucks.
