[Archived] What is your problem (50 characters)

Problem Details: My osu client doesn't let me login. When osu! is loaded, the login screen shows up, but the "Username:" field is grey, cannot modify it. I literally can't write my username here. For first, it was stuck with my username already wrote in, but this grey field annoying, so i clicked unchecked "Remember Username", then i restarted osu!. Since that, it is stucked without my username.

I did NOT get any messages if I did something wrong..

That happen usually as counter for muti-accounting. I can't really say whats the solution for that though...hmmm

Don't know if this works for you but you could give it a try:

1. close osu!
2. go to your osu folder and open osu!name.cfg
3. search the "Username" line
4. edit it to "Username = your name here"
5. save it and start osu

This should only happen if you are silenced?

Why would you need to delete your username from the login box...?

Deimos: That didn't help :/...

buny: Because it's annoying for me, that I can't modify it anymore. It wasn't grey, so I wanted to fix it for some reason..
And I didn't get any silences either.

Then may try a reinstall, don't forget to make a backup of your songs/skins.

This is rather client problem, then network imo. They are disabled already.

For some reason, it is fixed now. Maybe I really did something bad, but they should have sent me some warn or message then..
