[Archived] Taiko mapping bug

Hey all,

I've wanted to map taiko for quite a bit now, and i have a few songs i want to do but i can't get a taiko map going.
In the settings i can't set the gamemode to Taiko, and i'm on mac so the things that Nwolf told me yesterday don't work ;(



Can anyone help me with this?

Sorry dolphin, on other forums i always had to put in the entire link :/

dont worry about it, but there is a short explanation when you hover the cursor over the YouTube bbcode insert button :p

anyways i can't figure out much but maybe someone else can. at least people can see the video now.

i'm just casually going to bump this thread because the problem is still there, even if i update or reinstall osu!

Don't type "Taiko" at Mode Specific, use select instead.

You can see that i press the button to open up the drop down menu, but it doesn't open

I believe the menu DOES pop up but it's not visible. I have this issue for all drop-down menus.

Open .osu in notepad, and try changing the Mode: under [metadata]
With title, unicode, artist, tags, mode, source
I believe it is there


Edit: it's under general, with Audio name, Audiolead In, Mode (set this to 1) and some others
