Problem Details:

I press F2 to save my replay on a multiplayer match.. It saves but when I load it, the watch replay button appears only. I can't watch it. It says "This score has no replay data saved." Is it only gonna save the replay data when I press f2 right after playing or I can press f2 anytime to save the replay data?

osu! version: 20140814.1 (latest)

You can only save replays from top50 and from local
You can also save some Multi replays
You can not save Tag replays and replays in which you failed (even once)

Im pretty sure I didnt fail, and it's a head to head match. Though it's not on top 50 :3

I can't remember if you can save replays in multiplayer or not (I've attempted once but osu! just crashes for me)

I know that multiplays don't get saved automatically, and if you press f2 on a score that originally had no replay data then it will create a blank score (it only saves the score screen)

you can save multiplayer replays and you can save replays of failed scores.
were you perhaps looking at someone elses result screen when you pressed f2?

Nope.

Just last May, I could save my replays on multiplayer and I could also watch them... Now I don't know anymore :v
