[Archived] FPS Drops

Problem Details:
During a song randomly I would drop frames for no reason whatsoever making the game laggy and I start missing notes. I tried tinkering with the options menu, switched up the fps limiter, switched up from borderless to fullscreen but nothing works. All my drivers are up to date and I have no idea how to fix this.

It should run fine. Have you updated your drivers, cleaned registry etc?

Also have you tried switching between DirectX and OpenGL or disabling all graphics options?

I played around with the options some more. If I switch to OpenGL the screen just freezes at the main menu and to switch it back i have to click randomly and hope I hit the DirectX option.
