I have this tablet.
I tried the latest driver version available on Wacom's website and I was noticing bugs too.
Installing the older drivers (6.3.6-3) resolved this.

Yep, I also had this problem with my CTL-480 on newest drivers.
I just did what Bystander did at the time and reverted back to an older driver.

Disabling force proportions is suggested.

I also have this tablet. I have also had this problem for ages and have not bothered finding a fix (I play full proportions). I have though, found a way to check that the drivers are working properly in general.

Open the Start Menu
Open the Control Panel
If in category view, click Hardware and Sound
Under "Devices and Printers", click Device Manager
After opening the Device Manager, go down to "Mice and Other Pointing Devices" and click the drop-down arrow
If you see two "HID-Compliant Mouse" categories, click on both of them, and find the one that says "Wacom Virtual HD Driver" under 'Location'.
Once you have found the correct device, click on the Driver tab, and click the Update Driver button
Click on Browse My Computer for Driver Software
Click Browse -> Computer -> Program Files -> Tablet // OR type in the box " C:\Program Files\Tablet " and make sure you have the "Include subfolders" option checked.
Click Next
And it should update itself.

Good to hear. I still have this issue though. If you click the box, it gets all messed up.

Won't work, a working solution to the problem is to install older driver.

I had exactly the same issue with mine, and it got solved by driver.

Is there a link to the correct download? i tried wacom site and now my tablet is unresponsive to any input what so ever.
