[Archived] Constant lag while playing osu

Problem Details: When i play osu the game starts to lag. I put the fps counter on and i get above 100fps constantly, yet the game still lags. Its open using DirectX. Any ideas?

I believe the recommended ideal is to change your renderer to OpenGL and apply a frame limiter.

Also, you can try D3D antilag and see if that helps.

If you can play on DirectX, stick to DirectX, and set your fps to unlimited and try D3D Antilag like drum drum suggested.

Other than that, you will want to look elsewhere to boost your in-game fps, like kill background processes, give osu! higher priority and play on High Performance setting (laptop-only)
