I did a system restore a few days ago. Before then Osu was working fine.

I tried opening Osu not to long ago and it said it had stopped working. I decided that if I unistall then reinstall everything would be fine. Thise is where I began to run into problems.

I downloaded the installer and when the installer states the status "Copying New Files" These messages appear consecutively.

I Googled my problem and saw that someone suggested that I download the Updater and that will download all files without installing Osu. I tried that and I got this message.

I also looked to try to restore my system to a later time but that was not possible. Not sure if the restore did somethign to my computer to not allow me to run Osu or not. :(

If anyone can help me, that would be great. Thank in advance.

osu! version: 20140814.1 (latest)

Disable/uninstall your antivirus (if you have one). Make sure your firewall isn't blocking anything osu! related. Make sure you can run other .msi files too.

I dont' have any antivirus installed, my Firewall isn't on.

How would I be able to tell if I can run .msi files?

Try to find a safe .msi and run it.
