Likewise to the above but I'm giving this a 5, deathstreams that follow the music are awesome and I basically play this game to hit streams now so what other reason do I need?

You can hate my maps but that's how I will map and I try to fit in with the music so as much as you hate my deathstreams there will be more, not less. :P

Rating 4,
fun to play if they are used correctly (and if you are able to play them^^).

Nevertheless you can make awsome maps without spamming streams (you should give it a try).

It's because you map in that "oh god 130-140 BPM" range that I can't zx slow enough and using left click only kills my arm.

Exactly 140 is the worst.

Well I can only tell you how much my own maps has helped me in playing streams, I used to be terrible at slow BPM and now I'm much much better. As well, a lot of my streamy maps are ~150 BPM or higher, those are easier to play to.

I think it maybe varies from person to person which speed is the absolute worst. I think that point lies somewhere in between the fastest pace you can single click and the slowest pace you can L/R click. If your own skill has either one of these overlap, then you are good at all speeds (except those that are even too fast for you to click both buttons).

Wait I missed something @ Lybydose.

So you mean to tell me that people judge maps based on bpm? 130-140 BPM + streams = hate map? What the hell is that horseshit. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seemed like that kind of a message. If you can't play a map well, practice and don't complain about the BPM being in a range that you aren't used to.

Also, I find your example (JTB) to be an extremely fun and not very challenging map. Maybe because I've practiced on a lot of my own maps and thus can play 130-140 BPM? Hmmm...

I know I do.

If I want a more challenging map where I'm in the fast-clicking zone, I go for 175-210 BPM maps. Otherwise I prefer 135-165. If I'm tired I'll probably go lower or play non-alting maps.

Normal streams are probably fine but... these don't fit the music most of the time. Plus they can get quite ugly if not done correctly.

That does not even look rankable, quite frankly.

Deathstreams (sans the example above) are acceptable as a tool for Novice mappers to use when they can't think of any patterns, but imo this should be treated with a sharply-decreasing return. Given the low correlation between most songs and any given deathstream, it has a robotic feel to it.

Need mods? I'm available for mod4mod.
Unless the map you want modded is either Yousei teikoku, karen or denkare cuz then i'll gladly do it without asking for a mod.
