i'd like to request some changes to the song downloader.
1: the buttons respond to touch, could you change it so they respond to release? most apps respond to release rather than the initial touch. right now gestures(gmd gesture control) that start from the top-left in the song downloader always open the search dialog. and it's also nice to be able to "cancel" an accidental touch by moving my finger to an empty location. 2: could you add a confirmation popup before starting a download? it's too easy to click the download button while scrolling through the list. 3: could you add a queue screen so it's possible to keep track of the download progress of multiple songs without having to search for them again 1 by 1? 4: could you store the download queue somewhere, and attempt to restore it the next time the app starts again? it's quite a hassle to find all songs i had queued again if i accidentally closed the game, or if i go over the daily download limit. 5: could you add support for the hardware search key? i often hit my phone's search key a few times out of habit before remembering it doesn't work in osu!droid. and 6: could you turn the search box into a single-line box, so the enter key becomes a confirm/done button instead of a next line button? |

Make osu!droid open .osz files
There's this other game (as an example, their osu mod is nowhere as good as this, i'l rather their mania version) called "beats" on the market. when i click on a zip file, it opens with that software and offers to install the beatmap (basically unzip to its internal directory). I'm wondering (and hoping) osu!droid could do the same, maybe simply copy/paste the .osz to the preset directory and then do whatever it needs to do from there? Not a must, but definitely more convenient. fyi, i'm talking about say, clicking on the .osz from the file manager or downloads manager in the statusbar. can upload a screenshot if anyone doesnt understand. |
