The Osu community seem to be alot nicer then lots of other game communities out there but there is still two things that is somewhat irritating. Today someone booted everyone in an open game for no reason so I asked him why and got the answer: cause I can, thats why I kick you all :3 (yes he was 16yo)

The most common reason to get kicked from a game is because you aint from the same country as someone and people aint bright enough to write it in the gametopic like.. AMIGOS ONLY or, JAPANESE ONLY. So an option when you host a game would be nice, where you only let other people from the same country/region as you see your game. Because, who want to see games in their gamelist they are not allowed to join anyway?

A more democratic host system would be nice too, where every player in the game vote on who the host should be. Ive seen enough games get ruined because some really greedy guy who show no respect to his fellow companions happen to became host.

So I suggest two features to cure the same disease so to speak.. (might be against rule 4 sorry for that).
1. Vote host in open/public games
2. An option when a game is created where you allow or dont allow people from other regions then your own to see/connect to your game

#2 would be good for everyone, those who dont want to play with other nationalities dont have to boot other people and the victims dont have to get booted or have their server/gamelist spammed/flooded by games they are not allowed to join.
#1 would be a good way to deal with human greed and bring more diversity to the beatmaps. And if the game happen to get a bad host everyone dont have to quit, host can just be replaced.

Anyone who want to share their thoughts about this?

What if you create a room and everyone join in it?

Seriously, I don't see something useful on this.

Or you could just toughen it out and play with friends, or better yet, find a better crowd of people to play with.

I never find multi very interesting anyways cuz, really, interesting games rarely appear lol. And anyways, at any time, there are always some games going on, you don't have to sit there with strangers or play in a single room, you can hop around... playing with complete strangers often isn't all that fun either, because they will choose things you wouldn't like.

And furthermore, what you just suggested only saves you approximately 10 seconds of your life (Instead of getting kicked 5 seconds into a game, you'd look for a different room)

I don't find multi much different from single player either, all you do differently is compare scores lol, and doing that with complete strangers doesn't really mean much. With friends, I would say it is more meaningful, and with friends, you would not encounter this problem. Unfortunately for me, I am forever alone :(, and i play single player.

I think that the realization of

i agree with this, plus if people really didn't want randoms to join then they should learn to put up a password for their mp room

Is it possible to copy/paste the gametopics to then go to Google and transalte it? Still.. takes quite alot of time really. If that last part was a question then my answer have to be, I have no idea. =)

But theres no reason it have to be this way or am I wrong? If people dont want to play with other nationalities why shouldnt there be such an option when they create a game? It would be good for everyone I think or, would it really be a bad thing?

Yeah thats a good idea but I really dont know anyone who play Osu, everyone I suggested it too just says no directly "no way, no anime shit". And its kinda fun sometimes to play with new people. But back to the source, is there any reason not to have this option when a new game is created?

Beside, its easier to find a good game to join if the gamelist isnt filled with alot of irellevant games.

Hm well I did my best to explain, maybe theres a language inability on my part.

Is it not useful to filter out irellevant games from the gamelist?
Is it not useful to have an option that prevent people you dont want to join your game, to join your game?
If a guy host a game that says Normal-Hard/nightcore and everyone in that game want to play exactly that except one guy who want to play Insane Vocaloid 0108 maps and get host because the original one have to leave, wouldnt it be useful to have a vote-host option then instead of everyone quitting the game?

Seriously.. I might be wrong so feel free to explain why, if you can.

this isn't needed as you can all ready set a password for a multiplayer room. and its not even hard to find. its super easy to see

True but sometimes or quite often hosts want random people to join, random people from their own country. So they dont want to set a password but they dont want random people from other countries to join neither. In this case password isnt an option but I see what you mean and I see that alot too. People simply to lazy to password their games and dont give a shit about it.

I dont think an option to vote host, or to ban regions would be implemented, but i'll leave this request here for now and see what other people think.
Edit: Also please use the edit button instead of double, triple posting.
