Old issue (click to toggle) Since a month ago i have been full submiting my map (edit: http://osu.ppy.sh/s/41931) so the thumbnail image changed (which miserably failed). Three days ago I full submitted again and cleared the cache, and it finally changed. Unfortunately, i got this image: SPOILER (click to toggle) when it should be this one: SPOILER (click to toggle) I dont know how this image got in there since that image is not on the song folder, but it was the previous one the map had. So, is this just happening to me or is it happening to everyone? And how can this be fixed? More info? Where did it "get" the wrong image from? Maybe the first difficulty alphabetically, which is always used for the background?

mmm lets see:
I frankly dont know how, but this image was the first thumbnail the map had. and somehow got as the thumbnail now. I was sure I erased every file the map didnt use, and then full-submitted. The only thing that image and the one that is supposed to be is that they have the same name. Idk if that helps- |

The thumbnail matches BG.jpg in your map.

No way, the BG.jpg on my folder is this one:
SPOILER (click to toggle) and the one I see is on the thumbnail is: SPOILER (click to toggle) Could you take a pic of what are you seeing please? Just to check if the prob is only with me |

The one on the server is not the same. Have you by any chance removed a video that used to exist in the map?

You could say twice, because first i had a .flv video, then i changed it to an .avi video, later I had to remove this one to finally add it again. Is this what is causing the problem?

No idea, but you're not uploading what you think you are. Try downloading your map and see for yourself.

also tried dl from my brother's laptop and got the same image.. |

As I said, your video/novideo uploads are screwed up. Make sure the video is present on every map or not at all. I am done with this thread — if anyone else wants to help please feel free to jump in.

I've got to butt in again coz i think i have found the source of this problem:
When i dowload the full version of my map, i get this: SPOILER (click to toggle) And when i download the no-video version, i get this: SPOILER (click to toggle) The most logical conclusion is that the fact i changed my name is what is causing this problem. In a way, i thought this may not be the problem, but then i tried with other of my maps and this is the result: SPOILER (click to toggle) Full No-video So, who knows how to fix this? Maybe peppy wont read this since he said hes out of this thread, so i need help from anyone who knows how to fix this issue. More details: I have tried full submitting with the bg and the video in all diffs, but it doesnt change. |
