you see bad apple was the apex of creative expression, i think. that's why it generated so much controversy, you know? everyone was all like 'THIS MAP IS TERRIBLE' but secretly they were playing it maybe 20-30 times a day, sometimes more. they just couldn't get enough of it. it was like, the magnum opus of all osu maps.

i mean, not many people can say they've gotten a map out that's been THE most played osu! map ever for nearly 3 years, right?
