Hey.

I am working on a beatmap which is extremely long - 73 minutes - but since I added 2 new BGs and new storyboard elements, osu! says now it can't upload the map since it's too big. I don't need to say I full submit the mapset. (100 MB)

I state that both difficulties are called Marathon and ~Heuss'Taiko Marathon~.

Before this, nothing was blocking me from updating it. The only changes in the map are the osu files, nothing else.

Maybe it is too big due to the added elements?
How big is it?

Packed into osz, it is around 6 MB. Not packed, it's 100 MB.

It's now 67 MB.

About the error, it says this :

Make sure marathon is in each difficulty's name.

Oh, it works (as expected since the diff in progress is called Marathon) but when I had 2 diffs back then, it didn't work at all.

I'm wondering how this works on the client's/BSS' end, if it triggers all the diffs' names as "Marathon" alone or something this way.

I think it can go to "Resolved" now. Thanks, peppy !

It checks at both ends to save your upload time. And yes, it is based on difficulty names for now.
