I always love some good ol' Trigun and Rurouni Kenshin. Screw all this newfag crap with tsunderes and lolis.
Favorite anime of all time has to be Ga-Rei Zero..
Who can seriusly watch that without shedding a tear to the line "Would you kill someone you love, because of love?" ;__;

Ga-Rei Zero was pretty baller. I cried, enjoying it thoroughly all the while. I love tragic heroines. And machine gun suitcases, that was pretty awesome.
I have plenty of favorites, but no clear winner.
I'll just say I am particularly fond of Baccano! and Texhnolyze.
Both are just incredible. You can take this as an indirect recommendation.

I think one series that got me excited is Hajime no Ippo, I suppose everyone know why ^^;
I also enjoyed hellsing and berserk (although i like berserk as manga better)
Personally i dont like all those series with 200+ episodes, not really because of the content but because of the annoyning fans of the series who keep telling its the best and so on...

My top two favorites would have to be Initial D and Baccano. Haven't gotten around to finishing either of those but these are probably the only two I wouldnt mind watching over and over again.

I don't really have a clear favourite. Lucky Star will always have a place among my top being my first anime I ever watched but I would say Bakemonogatari or ARIA.

i'd say Clannad. was a really nice anime
